TSAdBot -- WTH is this?

ZoneAlarm has it listed as a program,and I set it to not allow any internet access to it. By its name, it appears to be an Ad Bot, and as with all these things I'm afraid it is transmitting data surfing habits, whatever) about e without my knowledge or consent. Any info on this?
 
Go!zilla and the like come with progs like that. As long as you block it using Zonealarm you should IMO be safe. And your guess about what it does was exactly to the point.
 
I think TS is short for TimeSink ... once installed by some program, it automatically starts during bootup. You can manually remove it from the registry, worked fine for me.
