Starting in July the TSA security fee on your airline flights is being doubled from $2.50/flight to $5.60/flight, $5/flight if its a layover.

Will there ever be a significant backlash for the TSA? Not only do they scan you, photograph you, inspect and touch you, they charge you to do it and they want 100% more.
I am guessing they are still paying off those imaging machines they removed after 6 months of use.

What imaging machines are you talking about? The whole body scanners are still in place; I believe they just performed a software update to hide some of the "nakedness." :D

TSA does suck balls and the thing I hate most is the inconsistency. Some airports make you remove belts, shoes, etc, while others don't. Some make you remove liquids while others don't. Oh, and if anyone says that's by design to "trick terrorists," I have some ocean-front property in Kansas to sell you.

To be fair if you read the the reason behind it most of the increase is NOT going to the TSA.

I'll happily bash the TSA for most things but Congress decided to do this to help pay for other programs

The TSA hasn't touched me since like 2002. Also, the imaging machines are much faster. If you don't like people laughing at your tiny penis, too bad.

Hell, in Logan International, I didn't even have to take off my shoes. I simply put my bag on the X-ray and then walked through a metal detector.
