Got a Dell 2001FP which has been a great monitior but now it's going bad.
The problem is that the right side of the monitor (exactly half of the viewable image) goes black after some time.
It is kind of intermittent as the screen comes alive after being left on for a while. Then it dies again a few minutes after I start using the machine.
Anyone had the same problem? Can it be fixed?
I've read that it might be the driver board that's going bad and replacements can be bought but the main problem is that I can't open it up to have a look.
