Stock is as follows

AMD Athlon 2200xp at 1.80 ghz on 133x13.5
Nvidia Geforce 4 ti4200 4x at 250/500
pc2700 only running at 133

ran a custom game-only run of 3dmark03 and got a score of 1460, since then i overclocked

from a 1.8 to a 1.92 on 167x11.5
and clocked my force to
260/555 (i swear i did it 5mhz at a time till it crashed, then decreased by 1mhz till it ran smooth without white noise)

doing so accomplished a rating on the test engine of 1602

I'm just curious, is this a good gain for the changes I made? and what additional changes can i/should I make?

Um, the changes you made yielded typical increases in 3DMark03.
IIRC tho, the 2200+ doesn't run @ 1.8GHz stock.
Are you talking about changes to your existing system to improve performance or changes to upgrade your system cost effectively?

the 2200+ is indeed a 1.8 GHz cpu.

and yes the changes seem to be on par with what others would see.

i dont think it worth the time to OC these old part and squeez some framrate out of this.

you should upgrade your video card to DX9 compatible card if u want to play some newer game
