trying to set up wireless network

ok i just got the internet working on this computer, i bought a router/normal wired, and got the dsl connection working fine, can get on internet and everything, now i have pluggin in my wireless dlink hub dwl-900ap, and i cant get the computer upstairs to see it, i have the wireless pci adapter installed in the computer, it sees other networks around, but not the SSID i have set on this computer, its a usb hub, so i have it installed on this pc, i cant figure out what settings i have wrong on this hub 🙁 please help
 
You first have to connect the Access Point to a single computer in order to configure it to be compatible with your current Network.

1. The AP IP address has to be on the same band as your Wired Router.

2. If the main Router is doing DHCP you have to disable DHCP on the Access Ppoint.
