I'm trying to set up a dual-boot system with WinXP and SuSE. I've got two HDDs in this system; one is a 40GB that is used strictly for storage while the other is an old 16GB that I'm using for the boot drive. That 16 is devided into two logical drive - 3GB for XP and the rest is free space. I'd like to use that remaining space for SuSE. I've run the setup program once already, and got everything in SuSE to run, except for the integrated Ethernet. I'll figure that out later. My real problem is that SuSE's boot loader screwed something up - it'll boot to SuSE, but not to windows. All I get if I choose windows is a bunch of gibberish on the screen. I fixed XP by inserting the install disc, going to the repair council and running FIXMBR, but now I can't get to SuSE. Am I trying to do this @ss-backwards or something? (ie, should I have installed SuSE on its own partition first?) How can I get these two both to work? You can see my computer specs through the link in my sig if you think hardware has anything to do with it.

PS - XP has and does work just fine, but being a computer science major (and a computer nut in general) I'd like to learn how to use linux, and from the little that I've seen on this site, the newest version of SuSE seemed like a good place to start.
