Trying to run Killing Floor Mod for Unreal Tournament 2004 but getting an error msg. Help!

I have downloaded the mod called Killing Floor for Unreal Tourn. 2004 and when I click on the icon that it placed on my desktop it says:

The item 'UT2004.exe -mod=KFmod' that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved, so this shortcut will no longer work properly.

I know I probably don't have something set up right but this is the first time I have downloaded a mod and I don't know what to do next.

Thanks in advance!!!!

Sounds like you need to manually add the path to your UT executable in the shortcut, such that it reads '"C:\Program Files\Unreal Tournament\UT2004.exe" -mod=KFmod' or whatever the correct path is.

You'll need to change the path. It should look something like this:

C:\UT2004\System\UT2004.exe -mod=KFmod

The path (which is wrong) in the icon shortcut probably looks something like this:

C:\UT2004\KFMod\System\UT2004.exe -mod=KFmod

You just need to take out that KFMod folder path.

BTW, you'll need the ECE bonus pack installed and at least the 3355 patch to run Killing Floor. Don't know if there's any issues with the latest 3369 patch.
