Trying to Run a Small LAN

I have 3 computers I am trying to network using a Dlink router.

2 have Windows 98 and 1 has Windows 2000. The win98 computers detect each other, but I cannot see the Win2k computer. What am I doing wrong? Is there a protocol that I need to enable? I am completely lost on networking.

I just want to be able to view files off the win98 computers.

you probably need to add the win98 users and passwords on the win2k machine.

Assuming you've set up a workgroup (and not a domain), check that all machines have the same workgroup name and different computer names.

have you installed netbeui on the win2k computer? it is not needed by win2k, but is needed by 9x ..

If you can see the other ocmputers and vice versa but just not see them fromt he win 98 box use
