Trying to RMA a DFI motherboard....

-I live in the U.S
-bought it 2 years and 2 months ago
-it's broken despite proper use



I bought it from newegg. It says 1 year warranty. So I can't RMA here?

But on the DFI site it says 3 year warranty...

YET I go the official RMA page and it has no option for United States!

I'd like to know the answer to this too, as I bought a couple of DFI X48 mobos a few months ago, and I haven't even opened them yet. I would like to know how to RMA them if neccesary.

Yup, it does.

And I fixed the newegg link. Now you can see that newegg is saying it's only 1 year.



Maybe I should contact newegg and tell them that the warranty is 3 years, not 1 year, and maybe they'll honor it or refer me to DFI?

I know THAT, I meant contact DFI to ask them about getting it RMA'ed. If they refer you to Newegg, forward that email with the page to Newegg. Otherwise, DFI will handle it.

Last time I called DFI, I actually talked to 2 people about getting a backplate. But I don't know if they still have a usa office.
