trying to register for a course but I do not meet the prereq requirement

I emailed the professor, we went back and forth but he seems like he doesn't have any idea that he can manually add me to the class

Can I go talk directly to the registar and have them add the class to my schedule? Or do I need to try to talk to this professor again and get him to do it

yea the department should have a form for this sort of thing
your prof has to sign it

Go to the registration office, get an actual registration form, fill it out with just that one class and get either the dean of the department's signature, your AA"s signature, or the prof's signature (varies depending on school policy. Ask at the counter if there is any question.)
