ok.. here's the setup
wall-------> socketA (line in master room) -------(someone split this)------->socketB (line in smaller room)
so i'm in the small room and the phone line works (socketB)....and works well. i follow it to where it starts and it leads me to socketA....but that one is dead.
so i pop it open and mess around a bit and i get it to work. BUT, there is a lot of static. so i think to myself. i must have screwed up socketB as well. but when i go to check that, it's still working flawlessly.
any clues to what i need to improve?
