Trying To Recreate My Apartment In Blender For Video Games

I was contemplating making my apartment in a few different FPS games and doing research it seems like in all the games I considered most moders uses blender to design the map then the map is imported into the map editor.

I was watching YouTube videos like the one below but was wondering if any of you guys have any advice.

I have a 25ft tape measurer for measurements.

Seems some years ago I saw someone walking around with an iphone and realtime mapping his house this way.. Cant imagine the output would be anything BUT Blender.

But does anyone really care if you got the measurements exact? You may actually find the apartment size by googling your address including unit number and ask for dimensions.

Start by modeling a plain, featureless 10 x 10 room and go from there.

I currently weigh 240lb, I actually gain weight since I first started donating plasma from eating like a pig. 😆
