I am trying to port a cell phone number from my old service provider (T-Mobil) to a new one (Tracfone).
I keep initiating these port requests which end up being denied by T-Mobil. T-Mobil reps claim Tracfone is not submitting the right pin number (security code). Yet I know the pin number I provided is correct and I verified it at a T-Mobil store. Tracfone claims they are submitting the same pin number I provided.
So it's a he-said-she-said mess and I am being ping ponged back n forth between their support centers and it's driving me insane. Either T-Mobil is reluctant to give up my number or Tracfone is inept in submitting this port request and I have no idea what to do anymore. I'm up to my 5th port request I am trying to initiate through Tracfone.
Is there anything I can do to put some pressure on these guys to get this resolved? What would you do in this situation?
