Trying to play Diablo II coop over LAN but there is no option. Help!

When we start games it connects to the slow crowded internet instead of using my Lan.
Every other crappy game give me an option to use IPX or TCIP LAN connections.
All network drivers have been loaded for a very long time, that's not the problem.

For LAN play, try "Other Multiplayer", then select tcp/ip. You then get to select "Host" or "Join" a game. If you select "Join", you have to specify the ip address of the machine running as "Host".

Played on the LAN last night. Lots of fun, but still some lag for the players that "Joined".
