trying to OC my A8V Deluxe w/ Winchester 3500+

So I am trying to give my Winchester a boost - what do you recommend that I do for all of the settings -- also AGP OCing (BFG 6800GT). I am a little new still to OCing and I could use some help as all of my attempts w/ an OC is brought to a halt by "Broken RAID" screen and when I return the CPU to stock settings it boots up fine. Any links to other pages that could help would be great also.
 
does that motherboard have manual SATA locks? look around in the bios and see if there is anything that looks like that. look for more info on that here under "1".
