I currently have this
P4 2.4 @ 2.8ghz
Asus P4P 800-SE
Samsung Pc3200 1 gig dual channel @ 2.5-3-3-8
Evga 6800GS @ 12 pipes 415/1.15ghz
i get 11k 3dmark03
5.2k on 3dmark05
and 57k on aquamark 3
i get weird type of stuttering in hl2/ css and some in bf2 not alot tho
i dont really want to go pci-express yet , my plan was to stick to agp until G80/R600
my upgrade options were
opteron 165
msi neo 2
ocz rev2
and stick with the video card
or
i got a friend that will pay 250 for my GS ( i payed 270 for it) and i can get a x800xt pe for 300
along with that i would get
opteron 144 or 3700
msi neo 2
ocz rev 2
which would be the better option ?
and would the extra 50 be worth the switch to the x800xt pe ? and what bout the 7800GS AGP is that comming out at all? worth a shot?
