Trying to make pulled HDD to boot on another machine

I pulled out a HDD from a machine and it refuses to boot on other machines..anyone know a way to make it boot? The computer would just restart by itself before the windows loading screen..it does that over and over..are there anything I have to remove on that HDD to make it to boot on other machines?? Thanks

Just treat it like you're installing a new motherboard in a pc and prepare windows the same way as outlined here.
note: you will have to re-activate windows when done

Of course, you'll have to put the hard drive back in original pc to prepare windows.

Otherwise, you may get away with doing a repair install overtop the currently installed windows.
