Hi,
I recently ordered the ATI All-in-Wonder w/ video-out because I need to make a video tape of a powerpoint presentation. The card is supposed to arrive today, but I just realized something: the powerpoint presentation has pictures AND sound. If the ATI card only has video-out, then I won't be able to get the music to record, will I?

I have an SBLive! X-Gamer, is there some type of adapter I can get @ Radio Shack to convert to the VCR?

Thanks, this is very important (it's a powerpoint of my friend's funeral with her pictures and music in the background and her mom wants a bunch of copies of it to pass around, so I'd appreciate all the help).

Yep, Radioshack has an adaptor to convert stereo mini-plug jacks (same as a headphone) to right and left RCA jacks.

Get the adapter, then connect it to the line-out or front speaker out of your sound card and run it to the VCR.

Looks like it is less than 5 dollars too. Y adapter

My ATI TV-Wonder (because it has audio line-in) comes with a mini-jack to RCA connection. You might have that. If you have specific right/left channels from your sound card, you might wanna get a single mini-jack to RCA connection.

Yes, the ATI will come with a purple hub for your video & audio in. I hope you're not thinking of using analog video though. It runs slow! If you plan to use analog video I would send that back, and invest in a Dazzle DV Hollywood Bridge.
