Trying to make a soundbar for my yamaha rhino

I have a yamaha rhino(side-by-side 4wd).

I'm wanting to make something like this:

All I'm trying to figure out is how the speakers are being powered in the above link?

I know it plugs in via cig lighter. But if I was to make something homemade(using PVC and 6.5" components) how do I power them like the above or another way?

You'll need a 12 volt stereo amplifier pc board from an electronics supply store.
