I need a good apt source.
i tried ftp://linux.upsa.es/pub/XFREE4.3/
but when i go try to install xdm it tells me xbase-clients isn't isntalled. well, then i went to install xbase-clients and it tells me cpp3.0 isn't installed. well, i have cpp-3.3 so i guess i would have to downgrade to 3.0?

Unfortunatly when you start using repositories other then the official ones you are kinda treading on thin ice.

Try using dselect... sometimes it does a better job of lining up all the dependances then apt-get, but probably the package your trying to use is slightly broken or braindead. Maybe try to get it from a different source... www.apt-get.org is a good place to find repositories, if you didn't already know.
