Trying to install hd on laptop - one of the screws got mutilated and I can't get it off!!

I'm trying to take the HD off the tray of my 600m. However, one of the screws that are suppose to come off are messed up. The grooves where you're suppose to put the screw in are messed up, and the more i try to screw it out, the worse it gets. Now my screw has nothing to push against cuz those grooves are practically gone!

What can i do??

I've used needle-nosed visegrips to pull up(tensioning against threads) whilst slowly turning a driver

that's an idea. but these screws are really small, let me go grab some neednose things...

edit: these screws are too thin to try plyers

Do you have a dremel? Try to cut a new groove in the screw (if you have room to work).
