Trying to identify a song...

it's sounds kind of like a dance song...
It's got a really repetitive beat, with a guy singing slowly in the backround...

I know this is vague as hell, but I heard it a bunch of times at a couple of bars and clubs over the weekend, so I'm guessing it must be current. I can't get it out of my head...if anybody has any insight, I'd be greatly appreciative.

Edit: Heh...turned out to be Hey Ya, by Outkast...thanks for all the replies.

Hmm...the beat's a little faster than this, almost more like a techno song...thanks for the suggestion, though. 🙂

no lyrics or anything?

I know, this is really bad...I can really only remember one part of the song, with the repetitive beat, but I can't think of what the guy's saying...

Can you describe the guys voice?

It's kind of high-pitched, sort of like Dave Matthews when he holds a note for a long time; the singer is stretching out a word for about 3 seconds...one of the words might be something, something, "...tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiime"....

thats a cool song, never hear it in the us. not like what the guy is describing though (woman singing, not in the backround)

I know, I was just joking around. that song got real big down here in september. when did it come out in England?

That song is great!!! I saw outkast perform it on Letterman the other week. I liked it so much that I bought the album.

FYI, the whole album is pretty good.
