I have been trying most of today to get my system stable. Here my settings, if you have any ideas please share them.

CPU 2610@1.425v (2.6 is my goal)
HTT X3
Ram Divider 180
Ram timings 3-4-4-8
Ram voltage@2.8

I can boot up just fine and do general things but when I run 3dmark05 it crashes out toward end. Didn't bother running stress test if it can't make it through 3dmark. Never crashed on 3dmark before. Would really like your help on this one.

System: DFI nF4 Ultra D (2bta bios) : Opteron 165 : 2gb G.Skill DDR500 : 7800gt : 500W Enermax Liberty:disgust:

Ram voltage is too high for those G.Skills I reckon. Lower to 2.6v & see if that helps. I had stability probs with mine @ 2.8v until I lowered to 2.6v. A bit more juice on the cpu wouldnt go a miss though. Try raising up to 1.5v-1.55v.

There's a number of factors. I tried 290Mhz FSB, 285Mhz FSB at any and all voltages and memory settings on my 3000+ on a DFI Lanparty UT SLI-D. Nothing was stable. I could run a few games for a bit, eventually it would restart the system or some other type of crash. I settled on 280Mhz. Not as much of an overclock as I was looking for. However, this processor is rated at 1.8Ghz and to get 2.5Ghz out of it is nothing to sneeze at.
