trying to get new rig setup

ok... after updating to cs1.6, my p3-500 just hit the biggest bump on the freakin' road ^^ ...i think it's time for a new pc (way way overdue)

can anyone help with a couple of suggestions for the following price range ($400 & $700), and reqs...:

-AMD &/or Intel P4, 2.0+ GHz
-tower & psu, 350+W
-mobo that has good price/quality & upgradeability for future
-vid.card
-512mb ram (maybe corsair xms? yes/no...)
-sound card (i still have my sb live! pci ...i use headphones most of the times anyways ...unless there's a good economic one)

...i have the HDDs maxtor 7200rpm 40gb & a deskstar 60gb which will do for me so i'm coo w/ that

Heres a budget setup that you should be able to overclock to 1.9 GHz @ 166 fsb with no problems, also will be able to upgrade later on.

I'd ditch the Kingston and get a $90 stick of Buffalo PC3200 from NewEgg. I'd also spring for a 2500+ and overclock it. I'd say 95% of 2500s get to 3200+ easily. Other than that jd's setup looks OK. You should decide on a case yourself, that's pure self-taste.
