Need real help or advice on what I should/can do....
I called the passport information center to see how I can get a temporary passport since my paper was stolen. They suggested me to talk to the INS to get a letter stating my Citizenship status. This should be good enough proof that I am a U.S citizen. So I went to the INS and they said they stopped issuing those letters.
Does anyone have the same experience or anything like it? Is there anyone that I can talk to to help me issue this letter to prove my citizenship status?
