Hi all,
I was looking for some input from everyone on this licensing issue I've got. I just acquired a new customer who is running unlicensed software at his company. In my showing him the ramifications of such use if he gets caught for what ever reason, he has given the order to get it all legit. It looks like someone installed some copies of WinXP Pro Corp on his network. My question is, If I go and order some copies of Win XP Pro OEM online, do I have to reinstall all of the affected workstations or will just purchasing the license be enough to cover him? He has alot of custom apps that I would like to avoid reinstalling, if possible.
Thanks!
