want to be in shape for when i go down to aussieland ;)

i tried bycycle riding, rode about 15 miles a day... would it help to ride 3 hours a day instead of 1, or would that just burn me out ?

also, what kinda diet you guys suggest? im not entirely sure about the atkins diet. i do like potatoes...

It is better to work out more often than to work out hard one day a week. Try biking for 1hr 5x a week. That paired with a healthy diet and the pounds will shed off.

low fat diet thats high is satiety. you can exchange time for intensity: 2 hours of riding 15 miles will be the same as a one hour doing the same distance

i was biking an hour a day 5 days a week. the pounds did shed off, but im told the closer to good you get, the harder the pounds are to lose. so im wondering about a healthy diet as well.

when i was bicycling, i lost 20 lbs in 2 months, without any dieting at all.

Also, eat more often, but less portion sizes. Try for 4-5 meals a day...

From that picture you shared with us it doesn't seem like your fat or anything. Just start working out and going outside.

also

Be sure to take off the wig before you leave the house.

You ought not to increase all at once, and DO NOT increase your intensity. At NO TIME do you want to go anerobic for weight loss. You want to be at the lower aerobic range for your age. Moderate intensity is the key. No faster than what you do now, and I would suggest riding 2 hours every third day for a week or two, then every other day, then if all is well, increase it to every day, but keep at least one day at one hour. Your body needs recovery time. If you get to 40 miles a day, that is 250 miles per week or so. Figure an off day every so often, and that leaves 200 miles a week. You will lose weight, and be healthier. For fat loss, moderate intensity and duration is the key.
