Has anyone successfully ever gotted the MMC Snap-In for AD User's & Groups management to work over a Cisco VPN connection?

We have it working flawlessly over a MS VPN connection to administrate a remote network, but for some reason it refuses to work over Cisco.

Hmmm...yes over Nortel. Don't have the MMC installed on the Cisco machine...I'll try and test that Tuesday.

never had a problem with it.

edit- you may be running into fragmentation issues. Try lowering your MTU to 1400 and try again.

there is program called DrTCP I believe where you can adjust your IP and TCP parameters.

On call weekends, I use the Cisco VPN client from home and have access to any/all MMC snapins. Never had a problem.

Broadband connection at home running NAT behind a SOHO firewall and connecting to a Cisco 3005 VPN Concentrator at work.

I suppose I should clarify a bit.

When we try to connect to the remote domain with the AD snap-in when VPN'd in - we get "Windows cannot connect to the new domain: The login attempt failed."

I'm thinking there is an authentication issue, since we're logged into a seperate domain that's unknown to the one we are trying to administer, and our login credentials do not match anything they use there.
