trying to flash a linksys wrt54gsV4 with DD-WRT

everytime I try to flash it it says update has failed
I am trying with the mini DD-WRT for 54gs v4

Reset to factory defaults then re-flash (over non wireless)

tried that
it has the latest firmware which might be the problem
edit tried it again and it worked I now have a repeater that works over a longer distance than my real repeater
