Trying to find two old movies...

I'm trying to remember two movies. I saw them over a decade ago, but I still remember them.

I saw these when I was like 5 or 6. One was like action/horror and the other one was horror. The stuff I saw in the movies scared me for years -__-; which is probably why I still remember parts of the movies and no one else in my family does. By the way, these movies are pretty crappy. I don't know why we ever saw them. Also, I may not be remembering them exactly as they were.

Alright, first movie. A bunch of high-school kids go to some private school. BUT, all of the teachers are robots lol. I remember one of the kids dying because a teacher shoves a bullet into his head with his hand (I think). In the end, the kids somehow kill the robots.

Second movie. Don't remember much. Some people come to a house in the middle of nowhere. They find a tape tape recorder and press play. Weird sounds are on the tape. But it curses the house or something. And crazy stuff happens and people start to go insane. I remember seeing someone chained down as well. I think ONE guy makes it out, the rest die or something.

Soooooo, name the movies!

First movie sounds familiar, I think it came out in 1998. It'll come to me... For some reason I'm thinking an Eve6 song was used in the trailer.

Edit: The Faculty?

The second movie definitely sounds like Evil Dead or Evil Dead II. Those are both classics and worth watching.

Worth watching at the age of 6? I was traumatized for like two years after watching that. I remember going to bed and making sure I was completely covered under my blanket so that no part of my body would be visible to 'them'.

The Faculty is definitely about teachers that are infected with alien parasites. Don't know about the other movie.

First movie is Class of 1999. I remember the videotape was labeled Terminator 5 actually. No kidding.

Second movie is definitely Evil Dead 1 or 2. I'm thinking it was Evil Dead 1, but I'm not sure. I remember they play the tape by a staircase and another scene where they're in some cold storage freezer room and some woman is tied down to a table or possibly held in chains. In either case though, it's EV 1 or 2 for sure.

Do you intend to watch them again and if so for catharsis? 'Cause I guarantee they will suck. ;)

Of course not, I mean worth watching now. Any parent foolish enough to let their 6 year old watch Evil Dead should be smacked. Of course if you somehow snuck and watched it on your own, that was a lesson learned. :)

My parents weren't around I think. One of my cousins would always bring over horror movies whenever he came over and convince my siblings to watch them. My cousin and siblings were 14 years and older atm so they decided to watch it. I think I just wanted to hang out with the older kids so I sat down in front of the TV. FAIL.
