Trying to find this oldies song...

It starts out kinda funky with a phone ringing at the beginning, then switches to a guy singing "hello, how aare you?" and somewhere in there he sings "lonely lonely lonely." Later on it turns to somethin like doo wop. This is kind of a strech, can anyone help me out?
