Hello all,
I am looking for a card that performs beyond it's $$$. I need something that will play World Of Warcraft at a res of at least 1280x1024 (maybe 1680x1050 if I decide to upgrade her monitor) and be able to handle a raid environment (if you play the game you know what this is). At the same time, this is for my wife's pc (yes I got her to play!) so I don't want to spend alot of money. I am going to upgrade her to pci-e so I am looking for the best value in a card kind of like the 6600GT was last year but maybe a little cheaper. Is the 7600GS any good? Any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

A 100.00$ 7600gs is about as fast as a 6600gt. A 150.00$ 7600gt is about 30% slower than your 7800gtx , but the 200.00$ 7900gs is as fast as your 7800gtx (with a little overclock) which will play most if not all games at your playing resolution with good detail settings.

7600GT is defintely the best FPS/$$ card available. It will play WoW at that resolution just fine.
If you plan to upgrade to a 20" LCD, then think about going with card in the $200 range like the X1900GT.

A 7600gt for about $140-150 is a good choice. It offers plenty of performance, and it's inexpensive.
