Trying to find Lounge Access purchase options for Munich airport

Hey all! Have two friends that have a 13 hour stay in Munich Airport. Only one of them have a US passport so that rules out going out to enjoy the city or whatnot.

I'm trying to find paid lounge access that is accessible (without going through customs, obviously). Seems the only one I'm getting is the Atlantic Lounge, for which I can pre-pay £50.00 for 3 hour access. Are they any other options? Is this lounge accessible without going through customs? Thanks.

Edit: Flying Lufthansa from NYC to JNB (Johannesburg), South Africa. Economy Class.

Isn't there a Lufthansa lounge in Munich? I'd be surprised if you have to go through customs to go in there. You may want to double check entry requirements though. Some lounges may require a passport to enter.
