A long time ago (1983?) I had a 70g tank and collected tropical fish, I also had a book with many different kinds of tropical fish, one of them was "Aphiosimion Bivatum" (I am pretty sure I spelled the first word wrong) I wanted to get some of these way back then but times changed and the tank went away, but now my son has a couple of tanks and I would like to see if I could find more info on this fish, I tried all the search engines and only google came up with one hit from 1999 which was a request for care info from someone who had aquired some "A.Bivatum"

[sits back and waits for the flood of replies]Apologies in advance as I am sure I wont be able to respond to the thousands of posts this thread will generate[/sits back and waits for the flood of replies]

Awesome! I remember thinking it was bivatatum but figured that was wrong when bivatum came up on google, heck its been twenty years since I saw this fish in a book, at least I almost got some of it partially correct, sort of :D

Are you a fish guy or a fact finder?

Good work either way, Thanks!

The funny part is that google corrects the spelling for you :)
LOL, I see that now, last night I searched for bivatum, I didnt even attempt to search for the first word because I was sure I had mutilated it badly, if I had searched for my spelling of the first word I would have seen the correction, google is amazing, thanks!
