Trying to find fan control software for my GTX 660

The computer in my signature is pretty darn quiet, however I do notice that the video card (Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660) is probably making the most noise at idle. Here is a link to the card:

So far I have tried the Gigabyte OC_GURU II and EVGA Precision. EVGA offers fan settings that don't accomplish anything, and the Gigabyte software has the control option grayed out.

According to the adapter properties, the BIOS version is 80.6.10.0.3d.

Not a huge deal, but does does anyone know of a way I might be able to control the gpu fan on this build?

Thanks.

No control with Precision X? Did you enable it in Settings/Fan/check enable at the top of window?

Yes, it is enabled. The fan speed stays at 40% when I hit apply. HWMonitor says the GPU is 33 degrees right now, and according to my custom settings it should be around 20%.

I have no reason to believe the fan control on the card is not working properly, as it will spin up during gaming. I am just looking for a way to manually control it, if possible.

With my card, PX will only allow it to go down to 44%... nothing lower. And that's either of my GTX cards.

With my Diamond 6450 I took it all the way down to... 0%. Oh, wait... it doesn't have a fan.

Nvidia has fan rpm minimums in bios that can't be overridden. My reference blower gtx660 SC is 30%. Can't be forced lower in software.

...and, in some cases, maximum RPM. My 560Ti will only go to 85%, and down to 40%. I'm guessing they limit it to 85% fan to avoid violating municipal noise ordnances and such. Just kidding. Sort of.
