I have an MSI Lightning 7970 with the Artic Accelero cooler. This takes up pretty much 3 slots.

I want to add another similar card. Probably a http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814202001 and I'll probably get the same cooler for it. That means I need 7 slots of clearance.

I have the 500R case which has 8 slots. The thing is though.. My current board, the Z68XP-UD3, the first slot starts 1 slot down, so really it's 7. On a similar size board, the fans would end up right ontop of the PSU at the bottom.

So I need a motherboard that has the first x16 slot to be a slot higher(closer to the CPU), and then it needs to have a 3 slot cap between the second one for the crossfired card.

Heres some pictures of my current setup, with a single card that takes up rougly 3 slots, and the Z68XP-UD3:

Biostar TZ77XE3 or XE4 has the highest possible PCI-E slot placement. So high that some 140mm coolers won't fit.

Its actually a good board too. Your computer is really dusty btw, suicide for your parts.

I think it came out a lot dustier looking from the flash.
My fans are clear of dust, it's just sitting in some places that don't matter. I'm going to clean it when I upgrade, though!

Hm anyway I looked at the board.

Yeah the PCI slot looks high up like I needed, but it's only a 2 space gap between it. :(
And I can't put the GPU in the bottom 16x, because the PSU is in the way.
