Trying to find a good fable for speech

I've giving a speech for a class. It's a manuscript speech- the only one during the class, so I'll be reading it. We are free to pick our own format(persuasive, informative, etc) and topic, I've decided I want to give a fable, e.g. Aesop's fables. I'm looking for something around 500 words. If anyone has any faborites, I'd like to hear them. Humor is good, the audience is a typical small college class.
