Trying to figure out what this chip is on a CUSL2/TUSL2

I recently purchased a used CUSL2 motherboard and noticed that one of the previous owner had epoxied a heatsink onto a little chip that is inbetween the DIP switches and the #3DIMM slot. My TUSL2 also has the same chip on it. Does anyone know what this little guy is????

Thanks

It's the ICS clock generator.

Certain ASUS motherboards are known to get to much higher than normal FSBs when a heatsink is mounted over this chip, and maintain stability.

This sort of thing first started with the P3V4X, and continued with other boards such as the CUSL2. Popular doing the same sort of thing on the P4T-E with the RAMBUS clock generators to get t PC1200 levels.
