Trying to determine my Bottleneck

I'm trying to figure out what the biggest bottleneck is in my PC. I'm running an A7N8X with a GeForce 6800 GT. My CPU is an athalon XP 2000+ and I've got 1gig of ram running at 233Mhz (I've 512 of 233Mhz and 512 of 400Mhz). I know that my ram and CPU are both going to limit my performance... but would it be better to get another 512 at 400Mhz or just upgrade my CPU to a 3200+?

I know one of these factors is limiting me, because a friend just got a PC nearly identical to mine except ram and CPU, and Doom 3 runs a ton better on his.

Ok... guess i'll upgrade my CPU. Think it'd be better to run 1024 megs of 233Mhz ram or take out my slow ram and run 512 megs of 400Mhz ram?

i would use the gig for that processor. (Athlon XP 3200+). But, I would not get the 3200+. I would get a mobile athlon xp 2500+ and overclock it. Here is the processor http://www.newegg.com/app/view...=19-103-401&depa=0. With the proper cooling, it can reach 2.4-2.5 ghz.
