trying to deploy offline windows xp updates

The tool im using for offline updating is Wsus offline. I had set the utility to copy over this stuff to a usb stick and it also keeps the original copy on the HD where the program is located, however I am not sure where in its directory on the HD or usbstick it stored the d/led updates. I believe its "wxp" and "win" i plan to integrate to nlite so i want to be sure. Also when i compare these two folders on the usb against those on the HD there are more update files on the HD. This is really confusing im not sure why they wont match shouldnt they have the same contents? I thought google would bring up something about this but no luck. Any clarification on this is helpful.

I am not sure if other windows updates has off-line updates but I am sure service packs have it.
