So I have been researching an upgrade for my ASUS 25 inch 2ms monitor. It has a nick in the screen.
I have an AMD HD 7950 video card and was looking at some of the 144hz TN panels out now. I Narrowed my selection down to either the Viewsonic XG2401 or the LG 24GM77. Both have gotten great reviews and both are supposed to be very good for the money. The XG2401 is about $30 more right now and has Freesync (which my card doesn't support for gaming) but if I upgrade (which eventually I will) it could be useful.
So which of these two is the better purchase / Monitor to buy? Is there another option in this price range that has the same quality as either of these two? Thanks in advance for your opinion!
