Don't worry about PCI-E 2.0, doesn't make an impact with today's cards. And I'm pretty sure both of those will need to be flashed, or hopefully shipped with a more updated BIOS.

Even thought the vid card is 2.0?

I have flashed one board and I fried it. The time I did it it was a re flash. How easy is it to flash a brand new board?

You just need a supported chip to get the system to boot up, then update the bios via usb drive or floppy. And yes, even though cards are labeled with PCI-E 2.0 it doesn't make a performance difference if you stick it in a PCI-E 1.1 slot.

That's fine, just saying that don't go out of your way to pay more for a board just for the PCI-E 2.0, true you can upgrade once a card that fully utilizes it comes out, but by then most people will probably be upgrading their motherboards for Nehalem cpus.
