So there appears to be some decent sales going on and I am in the process of putting together my build, so this seems like a decent time to pounce.

I will have a 3570k, initially either a single 7850 or 7870 and will only overclock using air cooling so nothing crazy. Light gaming basically and reasonably future proofed.

P8Z77-V LX $119 AR
P8Z77-V LK $109 AR
ASRock Z77 Extreme4 $115
GIGABYTE GA-Z77-D3H $125

Thanks for the help!

Micro Center has combo deals with the 3570k. $50 off the Asrock Z77 Extreme4 and a few other mobos.

Unfortunately I don't live next any Micro Center's (I have a Fry's but the deals aren't as good) and I think that must be a in store only promotion because I don't see it anywhere on their website.

Asrock boards provide mounting holes for 775 coolers. If you've got one you'd like to use, this can represent a significant savings.

I would suggest the P8Z77-V LK, it has 3 PCI-E 16x, 2 PCI-E x1 and just 2 PCI slots. Unless, you have a need for the PCI slots those are really just wasted slots. Also Asus is widely considered to have the best BIOS and has equal length traces to the memory (Z77 boards only). The later gives more room to OC memory and tighten timings.

Asrock Z77 Extreme 4 are very good boards. I owned 2 and the Extreme 6.
