my brother just built his system. he has a celeron2 566 cC0. i overclocked it for him to 975mhz default voltage. i wanna get over 1050mhz for him. he doesnt want to up the voltage. i told him that 1.8v would be ok. is it?
btw, he has a fop32

975 is a nice overclock at default voltage. i have ran my 533A @ 896 @ 1.8v w/GORB w/copper paste for 5 months now and haven't had a problem. 100% stable. however is your going to go to 1.8v i suggest a new HSF if your using just the supplied intel one. 1.8 is totally fine i wont go any higher than 1.85/1.9 though.

A 975 overclock at default voltage is great! Isn't the default voltage for the earlier (pre-600 Celeron) Celerons 1.5v? Can't be, that seems way too low. . .

I need 1.85v with my Cel. 566@850 using a GOrb and is still running fine after 7 months. I agree with Pandaflux - With a FOP32, I would say that the highest voltage that you need to go is 1.85v/1.9v
