My girlfriend plays a game called Uru, and wants me to try to find a way to take the music from the game and put it on a CD. I've already extracted the files from the game's CD, but the files do not have an extension.
However, they will play in all of my media players(VLC, Media Player Classic, even Windows Media Player[although this one says it may not be able to play a file with a (.) file extension]).
Does anyone know how to convert this type of file to something that will burn to an audio CD?

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Try changing the extention to mp3, wmv, etc., then playing it, to find out what kind of file it really is.

Thanks, I just figured that out myself. I found a program called TrIDNET that identified the files as closely resembling .ogg files, so I added that extension to their names, and have been converting the ogg's to mp3's.

Fairly sure that Uru uses Ogg Vorbis (.ogg) for all audio files. (Link)

If you want to make sure, you could try using Mr QuestionMan (Hydrogenaudio thread).

Should be trivial to convert .ogg to .wav. Load up the files in foobar2000, right-click, Convert -> Convert to... -> [WAV] -> [OK]. Burn to an audio CD.

Even easier: Download Burrrn, drag files into the window, click the big button. Done.

Edit: Damn, posted too late.
