Trying to convert ASF to *

I've downloaded an audio file about 18MBs in ASF which I want to convert to a compatible format for my MD player so I can tag along on long trips. My SONY OpenMG software doesn't recognize ASF so it failed on conversion.

I did find a software called dBpowerAMP which does it, but it's no longer available on their website or any mirrored site for some reason.

Can someone suggest an alternative please ?

Because MS threatened them, same reason VirtualDub doesn't do ASF's any more. You may find some stuff on doom9.net, but don't get your hopes up.
