Trying to connect to another network...

My parents have a wireless router at their house, with 1 wired computer and 2 wireless computers connected to it.

Right now i have one computer connected to my wired router.

Is there any way that I can connect to their network so that we can share files, etc?

I am not sure if this is possible.... which is why I am asking.

Also, is it possible to use net send over a router network?

net send would work, as long as you are forwarding ports. I wouldn't advise it, though, as it's hammered by spammers all the time (I log and drop hundreds of packets a day).

VPN is the proper way to go. Will have to buy some hardware most likely though. See broadbandreports.com VPN forum.

although VNC would be a decent alternative if you are not doing heavy transfers/looking to always browse/share. (i.e. want to transfer 1-3 files at one time, then you are done for a few days. )
