Trying to choose a case

I can't decide what to get. There are a couple cases I'm considering.

Antec P180
Lian Li PC-V1100
Lian Li PC-V2100

Basically I'm looking for a nice, modern, household-appliance look made out of aluminum (brushed if possible), and it needs to have a lot of space as I'll be adding water cooling to it.

Can anyone help me?

Your very first post and you open the flood gate 😀

Welcome to C&C Forum thisbarb. I am one of several Lian Li fanboys here. I just came from Fry's(friend bought digi-cam, i bought canned air) and spent a good half hour looking over many of the cases that are talked about here. I am even happier with my Lian Li mid-tower for doing so.

The PC-70 full tower can be had for$150+shipping. 6-5.25 bays exposed,3-3.5 bays exposed.
The intakes are easily up-rated to 92mm. The top two 5.25 bays could be modded for two more 92mm fans ducted to the CPU HS. Or as I'm plotting as are some others, a radiator could be installed on the top inside of the case. At $150 it looks real good if some modding is in the plan.

There are several V1100 and V2100 owners on the forum and in a day or two will most likely post. There are many P-180 owners here that love that case to bits. I like light and simple.
Good luck on your final decision.

Yea, I am waiting on the Stacker 830. I haven't read any reviews yet but it does look nice.

I like the look of the PC-V1100 more than the P180 and its also more easily modded because the P180 is just too thick for regular window mods.

I'll be water cooling my two hottest components (CPU and GPU) so thermal problems (if any) will only really arise from the motherboard and ram which makes me believe that an exhaust fan and the stock active cooler on the chipset will be sufficient enough. If not, I'll just upgrade the chipset fan.

If you don't want to wait for the Stacker 830, check out the Stacker 810: two 120mm exhausts, and the top of the case can be easily modded for another two (or even three) 120's, providing perfect space for a double or triple radiator. I really really want that case, but I can't justify the switch from my new wavemaster 🙁
