I'm tweaking my laptop to my liking, going through and changing all the preset crap Compaq installed on my lappy. (It's a Presario 700) I've been able to change most of the easy access buttons to my liking, but not the commands used by the Fn+f9-f12 keys. (the configuration utility says it can't change them; more like won't, I bet) The FN+f9 through f12 commands are tied to Windows Media Player right now, (play/pause, stop, previous, next) but I preffer Winamp. Now I could maybe stand WMP except for the fact that every time you hit Fn+f9 (play/pause) it shifts focus to WMP. (really annoying when I'm playing Gunbound) I've yet to find a setting that fixes this, and doubt if there is one. I've looked through the registry a little and found nothing that seems related to it. Am I just not looking in the right place? Does anybody know where these commands are located, so I can edit them?
