OK I can still hear my rear 80mm fan...
I bought SmartCool Plus 80mm rear fans...

and it seems very quiet when i hold it in my hand, but when I put it in the case, it seems to make alot of noise.. maybe the rear grill causes the noise when it hits the airflow...

that is the only fan I seem to hear out of my system now... Im using the TruePower 550W and that is extremely quiet...
I replaced my CPU with the Aquarius 2, super quiet

now I'm wondering what can I do about the rear fan?

Will this help?

How handy are ya? How about modify the rear of the case to accept either a 92 mm or 120 mm Panaflow fan?

To cut out a gasket for a 90mm or 120mm would not be an option for me
I would completely butcher the case :(

Right now this is what I have on my PC rear...
I just changed it today, and moved it the radiator to the rear of the case, since I noticed that the case got hotter since I got the watercooling kit.

Holy batman, that's quite a mess in there!! I see what you mean about butchering the case. How about putting a 120 mm blowhole on the side and have it as exhaust fan? And how about some damping material? Other than that, I'm out of idea.

if you have some money to shell out, then just get some 12dBA papst 80mm fans. I have them in all my cases.

SWScorch has the right idea. My first computer had a front intake fan that was pressed up to the hole-punched metal grill of the case. Boy did it hiss! Like your case fan, it was quiet when I held it in my hand. After cutting out the grill, it was silent and actually let me overclock my K6-200 a bit higher. :D
